sitemap pliugin (0.6) doesn't create sitemap

I activated the sitemaps plugin (0.6) and published an article.

Unfortunately, no 'sitemap.xml' file was created anywhere.

I have rewrite rules present to map URL's to yyyy/mm/dd format. Could
this be causing a problem ?

My Habari blog is installed at $HOME/public_html/blog so I presume the
'sitemap.xml' file should be created in this directory.

The plugin is not intended to generate a file, rather to serve the sitemap xml document when requested. I have tested this with 0.4 and HEAD (r1437) and it is working with no issues at all
